Why could not the space existed before the Big Bang? Not the planets or stars or anything, but a blank canvas?
Why not a kind of pure space said will have passed that? If the space defined only by the objects in it? And the time by the motion of these objects? I hate how easily the concept of the Big Bang (or similar idea) ends look like something out of nothing. Please enlighten me.
General Relativity proposes that the space is not so. There is no such thing as a beautiful, Space, empty Euclidean background on which occurs in physics.
