Can any type of work for every type of compressors airbrush?
such as: Can an air compressor with hose and 12 – 4.5 oz working with VL Airbrush, Paasche Airbrush, Iwata Airbrush, etc.
The two "key" are, of course, supplied the valves and the pressure on the brush. The fittings and adapters can be found at almost hardware or DIY store. The real problem is in the regulation of pressure. A typical garage type of compressor can be up to the optimum pressure adjusted ba, (Less than about 15 psi), but because of the nature of the piston drive it delivers, this pressure in pulses, that can manifest as larger patches of the spray along the Line drawn. One solution would be to put a storage tank between the compressor and a paint brush. As long as the output of the tank properly regulated, the pulses of the compressor is not shown on the brush. filled In fact, the compressor only needs time to consider running a few minutes at one of the tank. Of course, the noise of a compressor Garage is deafening. But, the bigger the tank, the longer you can run the brush without restarting the compressor. I used to Measure Custom Airbrush T-Shirts at art festivals and produce holiday boutiques. My solution was to run to my brush with tanks of compressed CO2. They were portable, requires no electricity and a refill (about $ 20) would last me almost a year.
