Can I use factory watercolor tube paint as a pigment base for making egg Tempera paint?
Will the Gum Arabic have an adverse affect?

Possibly yes, but you should experiment a little.
The whole point of making egg tempera is in it’s simplicity and purity, the gum arabic and inert fillers in commercially made watercolours could easily degrade or spoil the tempera. Also it would be more difficult to control the proportions of pigment/egg which vary according to colour.
